You get the serials, But Mariner Write does not get unlocked until 500,000 participants.

 

Yeah, I guess your right. You just have to wait a while for the serials to show up for the other apps.

 

I downloaded. But really, there is nothing there worth anything to me. I just figured I'd count one more toward the goal for those who do want it.

Tinygrab said it would come later.. all the rest immediately gave me serials on the same page where I could download them.


its mostly junk.. but thought the Warcraft rip off game might be fun to mess around with.

 

Hordes of orcs is fun, but they are having serial problems now. I use to use Twitterrific, But now I use Tweetdeck. TinyGrab, I already have Skitch, and Little Snapper, I don't know how many I need. They rest are meh, but they are free, so who cares. I am really hoping to get little snitch this Macheist season.

Yeah, I have to admit...I think these MacHeists are great initiatives but rarely do they have anything I'm interested in. I'll take Mariner though .

I've had a trial of WriteRoom installed for a while now, but didn't really want to pay £15 for it. Now I have it for free!

WriteRoom gives a totally useless license key they killed a great writer even before birth . Mariner is still locked.... sigh

 

Well, I doubt they will get 500,000 they have only got about 60,000 in 2 days, it seems to have died down a lot. Who know what they will do, they might throw us something else, or not.

 

I'm seeing a serial for Mariner Write in my receipt, so either the count on the front page is wrong or they released the app anyway.

 

Yeah, they unlocked it, the little tag beside it on the front page is gone.

They kinda screwed them self here, they should of set there goal lower to something more feasible, like 300,000 now more people will just think "Oh they will unlock it anyways" for future stuff. Maybe if this had some actually interesting stuff in it, 500,000 would of made sense, but to most people this is just junk that they will play with once and never use again.

 

the game is really a piece of JUNK! It is not fun at all. DO not download it.
