The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Alright, so theres a few threads like this over on the windows section, but im yet to see one here on the apple board.

    so, basically

    1: )Screenshot your desktop - If you dont know how to yet because you are new to mac, the key combination is Command+Shift+Control+3

    2: ) Upload your screenshot to http://meep.110mb.com http://imageshack.us http://photobucket.com e.t.c Thumbnails on posts only.

    3: ) Paste the "thumbnail for forum" code into a post, add some text to the post describing your screenshot if you want to

    4: ) Discus each others screenshot e.t.c

    Here is my 2009 unibody 17" macbook pro.

    2.93 ghz C2D - 8 GB DDR3 memory and a 512 mb nvidia 9600 GT

    As you can see from the dock not many apps on here yet
