I'm in the market for a new laptop and have strongly considered the Black Macbook. I was just wondering how long it would take for it to ship. Say I order it tomorrow. How long would it take in general?

You can get an estimate from The Apple Store. Right now their site says "Ships: Within 24 hours" [for the Black MacBook]. Then if you add the MacBook to your shopping cart (you may need to register/sign-in to your Apple Account) you will see an estimate.

When I did this just now the site says "Estimated Ship: Within 24 hours, Delivered within 5 business days after shipping" - it may be different depending on your destination zip code.

These estimates are fairly accurate, with the exception of when something is not in-stock (ie. 7200rpm hard drives for the 15" MBP) and there is a delay. Check out Apple's site, they even have a "Chat Now" feature that enables you to instant message an Apple salesperson!
