    Hey guys,
My screen on my MBP shimmers, or looks like it has lines running down it on the screen when in windows. Mostly when looking at the desktop. However, this problem goes away when in OSX. I do not understand this. Is there something wrong with my LCD(LED) screen?

There is nothing wrong with your LCD. I'm fairly certain it is a graphic driver issue. I've noticed the same thing in Windows XP Pro. Especially when dragging windows quickly across the screen, lots of ripples (shimmers).
