Hi All
Now I know that MAC OSX can read and write to FAT32 Drives, I am curious has anyone ever partitioned a drive into OSX, Vista/XP through Boot Camp and also left room for some FAT32 Area? in theory I assume both OS can read it so its like a shared drive in which ever OS you boot into. do this work for boot camp?
Thanks in advance.

There was a topic created earlier where I found solutions to the problem. You can probably find it on Page 2.

Yes that works. However Bootcamp does not do this for you. You need to partition the hard disk with another program to get a 3rd partition. I could be wrong but I think bootcamp only has the option to great 1 extra partition for windows and not a a 3rd for shared data.
Make sure you dont need any of the features in the shared files that FAT32 does not have. I.E. access control (ever user has read and write access to all files) and files bigger then 4gb wont work in fat32. There are a few others I think. -
Cheers both, i will look for the other topic.
