Hey I just go t a 2 TB time capsule and I need help setting it up.

I have Verizon Fios so my internet comes into my verizon wireless hub.

I want to use the time capsule to be a central place where all my computers can go and dump things like pictures and videos etc. I have about 4 computers in the house some of which are connected via lan and some are wireless.

Well I was able to connect an ethernet cable from the back of my fios router (has 4 outputs) to the wan prt on the back of my time capsule and create a second wireless network. THis is cool since I am sure it is faster than the one the fios router puts out.

Unfortunately my light is still blinking amber and none of my computers can see the new storage device on the network. How do I get it set up so we can start using it to store files? I thought it would be easy like plug and play ala USB drive but noooo.

    Thanks for the help!

Hi! Maybe you need to launch AirPort utility and set up the Time Capsule as "Bridge". I have done such thing yesterday (I have different router, but I think that you will have to do the same steps)
