the caps lock on my macbook is not as sensitive as all the other keys, when im typing quickly and hit it i find that it hasnt been turn on. it gets aggravating when i have to type up school work and have to hit it twice, recently ive adapted to holding shift, but i want to know if theres a way i could fix this

It may be that your hitting the key not center. Doing so you may not be making the switch. I know on mine that I have to hold it for a couple of sec for it to lock. This is fine so I don't prematurely set it.

Check to see if there is not a crumb under it or something.

They did that purposely, so that you dont turn it on accidentally.

You have to kinda hold it down a little bit longer, rather then just tapping it.

If you google it, youll see other people have had the same complaint (myself included) but you learn to live with it. Just press a little harder, and a bit longer and youll be fine. (if you press it and the light stays on when you let go, you pressed hard enough, if it goes away by the time you life your finger, you didnt press hard enough.)

I personally like that feature. It's the same on my Mac Pro keyboard.

I've had times on my old keyboard where I was just going to town typing, and somehow I hit the caps lock during a shift or A, and before my fingers catch up with my brain, I've already typed a sentence. (When I know what I'm typing, I can easily hit 100wpm)

It would be really nice to have a delay set in the System Prefs, so you can force it to have no delay to kick in, or 3 seconds.
