My Macbook is having an issue. Took it in to the Apple store to learn some iPhoto stuff...when I got home and turned the computer on, the desktop was scrollable in all directions. I don't know what the Apple dude did, but the effect is similar to when you'd run a non-native resolution on a CRT and only a portion of the desktop could be displayed on the screen - the rest you'd access by scrolling around. I checked the resolution on the Macbook and it's set to 1280x800, but the desktop is larger than the screen! What's going on?

you might have "zoom" your desktop. this is activated by pressing "ctrl" and "scroll".

try scrolling back/down to reduce/cancel the zoom, and forward to enhance/zoom the... zoom... you get what i mean don't you?
