Since a short period of time I got this problem with my screen:
There are 2 spots on the screen (quite close to eachother) which are brighter then the others. It are groups of multiple pixels, and it is only visible on a white/light blue/other light color screen.
What is this and can it be fixed? it looks quite irritating to me, and if possilbe I'd like to see them removed.
Thanks!

Apple's dead pixel policy leaks out, up to 15 anomalies 'acceptable' on 22-inch and above screens? -- Engadget
My old iPhone had a few "bright pixels" that were partially alleviated by a technique I often read about. It involves "massaging" the pixels with one's fingernail. It would last for a few weeks, then return. It may be worth a try only if the situation is not covered by Apple's policy of replacement. -
I think I had the exact same issue on my old SR 15" MBP from a couple of years ago. It wasn't on a pixel level, more like a group of pixels forming a bright blot (about 2-3mm in diameter) and also only visible at certain angles, on light/uniform backgrounds. It's very hard to describe, it was almost like a screen backlight leakage in one spot, if that's even possible.
Anyhow, I was hesitant to take it into Apple as it was very hard to see but eventually it became very annoying so I made an appointment at the Genius bar at my local Apple store and the guy took one look at it and straight away ordered me a whole new replacement screen, which came in a week later and the new screen was perfect. FWIW, my MBP still had AppleCare on it when all this happened.
