I just created a new account so im no longer using the admin account. About a minute after I log in to the new account the screen gets really weird, looks like the contrast got boosted up crazily to the point that its hard to see things. I can log out and in to my main admin acount in which everything is fine. Everything is fine in the start up screens too. Its only weird on this new user account. What just happened to my doing so well new macbook?

ok then i figured it out. Somehow the contrast slider on the universal preferences thing got spontaneously pushed to max? I must of had one hell of a crazy spazm with my finger.

Yeah, every notebook I ever used sometimes the trackpad 'detects' movement on the trackpad even when I touch it, I guess they are really sensitive to heat.

I use a external mouse when I'm at the desk (its where my Macbook usually resides) and make sure I turn on the setting where when a mouse is connected, the trackpad is disabled automatically.

It's most likely what I just explained what was happening to you.

Glad you figured it out though.
