I recently bought a macbook and have already got some scratches on the lid, near the apple logo. Is it possible to buy something that will repair the scratches (they aren't very deep, just annoying)?

    Thanks

You can try some kind of plastic buffer; I use Brasso on my iPod to take scratches out of it. The issue is that you will continue to accumulate scratches no matter what ... if you are seriously concerned, consider a notebook sticker or cover.

How well does brasso work? Would it remove scratches from a macbook lid?

    Thanks

I've heard of polish liquids that can get rid of scratches on iPods and glossy surfaces (a.k.a., the MacBook lid).
