Is anyone else finding Safari (4.0.2) sluggish? I seem to be getting a lot of beachballs lately.

Safari does appear to become slow over time. One (possibly only temporary) remedy is to use an ad blocker, such as Safari Adblock.

Ya, I run an adblocker. Its just more recently that I've noticed the beachballs more often.

I've noticed it too. Ever since I updated, certain sites take way too long to load and as it's loading I get a lot of the beach balls and have to force quit.

I don't think it's my internet either, my other PCs don't do this so I'm not sure.

The saddest thing about Safari now is that you can't even put a reload button on the toolbar

    Firefox FTW.

Make sure that you guys are emptying your cache regularly.

I get the same problem with the Windows XP SP3 version, even though I have a quad-core PC.

Something is amiss with the beta coding.

Exactly what happens to me. And the websites are random. Sometimes my school email doesn't work, and sometimes NBR won't load either.

I haven't had a problem with a webpage loading, but what I *have* noticed is that all of the sudden some of the video clips are not running as smooth as before; i.e. jerkiness, etc. It's a random thing, though, and that makes me suspicious of the ISP I use.
