    What are the ideal settings for SMC fan control?

    There's no real ideal settings, really. You can keep it at 1800 RPM if you want. Although its probably not a good idea to keep the fans running at top speed (6200 RPM) constantly.

    Personally, I set for 3600 RPM.

    I leave mine alone and use it as a way to keep my temp and fan speed visible on the screen.
