OK I finally took the plunge and bot a macbook. I do a lot of copy and paste and being a pc guy I used the right click all the time. What is the fastest way to copy and paste an item?

You have a few options- one is ctrl + click; one is command c, v; and you can also go into the system preferences and set 2 finger tapping (probly the fastest)

Hold in Cmd and press C, then go to the location you want to paste your files, and hold in Cmd and press V.
Of course, you could also just right click on the trackpad by tapping with 2 fingers simultaneously, or just buy a 2+ button mouse.

Can't seem to get the 2 finger tapping down, how do the preferences need to be set?

System Pref>Keyboard and Mouse>Trackpad and check the Tap trackpad using 2 fingers... checkbox.

got it. needed to check box that said clicking first. ty. I'm sure I will have many more Q's, hope everyone doesn't mind. I will search threads first and maybe make a list of Q's and call Apple directly.
