So I got my macbook in august, and boy is it awesome! Specs in my sig VVV

    I use it for

    Photoshop
light gaming (Far Cry 1, The Sims, Spore ect)
    Itunes
    Watching movies
I have been very impressed with the stability of OSX, I have never had a crash!

The battery life is awesome, I get aprox 4 hours with wifi on

I love the color, it just looks so cool, except for the fingerprints :p

It's very light as well :D

    I give it a 9/10 :)

    Pros:

-Does what I need to do, and does it perfectly
    -Portable
    -Good battery life

    Cons:

-Doesn't have a great graphics card, so I can't play crysis or anything. I am happy with the games that run on it though.
    -Fingerprints

I wouldn't call a 5 pound 13" notebook light. The "target weight" for a 13" these days should be between 3 and 4 pounds. The new aluminum MacBook is a half pound over this range, but considering the quality of the new body, I would definitely consider it. Everything else you said is valid.
