My debate is whether to get the superdrive, warranty, and other accessories that make it more expensive. I want the 24 LED, but thats gonna have to wait for another time.
The question is: Is the MBAIR 13" powerful enough? I've seen great reviews, it seems to snap, it seems to run apps seamlessly, but how about iMovie? iPhoto?
Also I'd love to dual boot windows 7 ultimate 64....does anyone do this on the new Macbook AIRs? How does it run?
Also...I'd rather save 100 and just go with 2GB 1066 RAM...is that ok? My current MBPRO has 2GB 667mhz ram and runs fine...

1.8 - 2.13 ghz Penryn does everything fine. It won't game much.
Windows 7 runs fine, as you would expect a Bootcamped version to run. Not very useable on battery power though (touchpad, battery life hit). I end up just using OSX for the most part unless I need Windows for work something. -
I have a gaming desktop below, 2GB ATI card etc...I'm all set there!
I may go 4GB to be safe, but I doubt I'll ever need it. My 2GB 2008 MBPRO does fine. -
Ordered MBAIR last night custom..hasn't shipped yet...

Get the most RAM etc you can, since its not user upgradeable afterwards!

Got the 4GB...All set.

I don't know about the update though...some compliants about it being slower, or whatever...is it safe to upgrade? I may just let it go for a while...use it a month before I start messing with it.
Returned iPad...may buy MBAIR
