I am planning on buying a MB Air with 80GB HDD.

If I find out that I am dissappointed with the speed of the HDD, will it be possible in the future to replace the HDD with an SSD myself?

I am quite handy with this kind of stuff. I just don't know how easy it is to open the Air, and how accesible the harddrive is. Also I don't know much about the size limitations.

Wow. And I thought replacing the drive on the MBP required some work...

phew... if I took the air apart, I'd probably never get it back together right. Then again, I'll never own one either...

Haha, like they say, you'll always have that extra spring that doesn't seem to fit anywhere :p.
