stealthsniper96 What Was I Thinkin'?
I think you need to leave the power plugged in, but everything else shouldn't really matter. I always unplug any external drives, but thats just so I don't install in the wrong place. You should be good with a LAN cable.

reinstall the OS? or what?
I would unplug your external HDDs just to be safe, but it won't make any difference if you do it properly. -
ah ic... yes OS install.. coz i think i read in the manual it says to unplug anything unecessary before doing the OS install... in the OS install readme file.
do you guys leave the LAN cable plugged in? -
yeah you will have no issues if you leave the LAN cable plugged in. and like I said, you really shouldn't have any issues with anything plugged in.
