    Reinstall question - what to plug in?

    during reinstall, do i need to remove everything plugged in to the computer?
    can i keep the LAN cable plugged in throughout the whole process?

    Apple macbook pro / mac os x 10.4

    I think you need to leave the power plugged in, but everything else shouldn't really matter. I always unplug any external drives, but thats just so I don't install in the wrong place. You should be good with a LAN cable.

    reinstall the OS? or what?

    I would unplug your external HDDs just to be safe, but it won't make any difference if you do it properly.

    ah ic... yes OS install.. coz i think i read in the manual it says to unplug anything unecessary before doing the OS install... in the OS install readme file.

    do you guys leave the LAN cable plugged in?

    yeah you will have no issues if you leave the LAN cable plugged in. and like I said, you really shouldn't have any issues with anything plugged in.
