    unfortunately not. however, often the free ipod + new mac is a better overall deal than the refurbished mac...

    As has been said, they do not. Often times, though, the student discount on Macs brings them down almost to the same price (usually within $100) as the refurb models, so its not really worth to get a refurb if you get the student discount. Add in the free iPod and printers, and its a no brainer.
