Why fill a need that is not there?
If you need specific software, sure... but sounds like you just want stuff.

What do you mean? Im just interested in what software is recommended. Kinda like Questions that ask "what software should I install first on my new notebook?". I just want to know what software that I should definetly install.
You know what I mean? :p

Mainly, yeah. Stuff. What stuff do OSX users recommend I install? :D

What do you want to do? iLife already comes installed so you have iPhoto, iWeb, etc. You want to talk? Skype is a freebee. It really all depends on what you're wanting to do

Figure that out and you're on your way!

If you have any need to catalog any type of media (DVDs, CDs, books, games, or pretty much any items for that matter), take a look at Delicious Library.

In my opinion it's one of the coolest OS X apps I've come across (you can use the built in iSight camera to scan the barcodes of your items to add them to the library!)

    Here's the link:

I like VMWare Fusion, but it's mainly personal preference. I haven't really messed around with Parallels that much to make an accurate comparison as to which one is better. :)

the best advice I can give with installing stuff... is d not install anything you don't need... don't install things just to install it cuz someone said its cool, even though you'll never use it...

I tried parallels butnit didn't work. The windows installations just sat there not loading or installing...

Going to try the VMWare one...

I've used both... and VMware is much simpler, and does everything Parallels does... Parallels seems overly complicated
