I upgraded to lion and have to say that i would rather go back to Snow Leopard.

    Is this possible?

Yes. You can boot off of your Snow Leopard install DVD/thumb drive that came with your system and go from there. If you have the install DVD, simply put it into your computer's drive while you are booted into Lion. Then restart your computer. After it turns off, hold the C key on the keyboard while it is booting. This will force it to boot off of the install DVD. If you have a thumb drive, you can do everything the same except hold the option key while it is booting instead. Of course, I think it goes without saying that you will essentially lose everything on your system by doing this.

Out of curiosity, did you upgrade to Lion or did you perform a clean install with Lion? What issues are you having that are making you want to downgrade to Snow Leopard?
