    Random Sleep

    it happened two times today, the screen went totally black, the fans stop working and the "sleep lights" turned on and off. Soon after the disc drive made the sound that id usually makes when turning the computer on. does anyone have any idea of why this is happening?

    Check your power saving settings?

    Did that happen while you were using it?? If so, that's mighty strange, I'd call Apple.

    I would give Apple a call, because you shouldn't have to wake your computer up while you are already working on it.

    I think i discovered why, it always happened when i put my iphone on the right side of the palmrest (directly above the hard disk)..

    is it possible that this is causing the hard drive to shut down?
