Perhaps it's just me or maybe there are others out there who just haven't got arond to asking, but I really need help with Quicksliver...

    What is it?

    How do I use it?

Can I have some examples of how you use it?

    Basically I'm requesting a guide I suppose...a Quicksilver Guide

I used Quicksilver for a bit, but eventually uninstalled it and just use Spotlight now. Quicksilver can do a whole lot more than Spotlight, but I really only found myself using it to quickly locate a file, folder, or application, which Spotlight can already do so there was no point in having the extra overhead.

Thanks for the compliments, SamsungFTW, and you're very welcome :).

Joost is awesome...I have it on my MacBook (I barely use it though...it gets my MacBook pretty warm). I just wonder if it can really replace YouTube.

Yeah, Joost seems interesting. I'm trying it now. Yowzers! My CPU almost instantly increased to 80°C! Still, Joost is pretty cool.

Yeah your laptop does get pretty hot as does mine. However, watching Adult Swim whenever I want is great I just wish they could add Family Guy = (

I use QS a lot, I always use it to find a file or to launch a program that's not in my dock. It's very useful and easy. I tap 2 times Fn and i get my QS popup :)

Ow, I also use it to play a specific song or artist in itunes.

Quicksilver is very powerful if you take the time to learn it and install plugins. You can use it to launch apps and find folders, but also to email a document and much more. The tutorials listed above should show that. Also check out MacBreak, they have a couple of episodes on Quicksilver.
