Do you have to do a separate partition similar with bootcamp?
Thanks!

No, if you are running a virtual machine you will not need a separate partition. A new data file on your existing disk will be created which acts as the new drive within the VM.

You can do a separate partition if you want though but completely not needed.

if you have bootcamp, you can use the bootcamp partition as virtual os.
Quick question about parallels.
