Will the upcoming refresh make the 13 inch MBP a lot more expensive? If the refresh it going to put it in the 1,500 - 2,000 range, I think I may just buy the 13 inch MBP now, at 1,000, before supplies dry. Or does Apple tend to keep their product pricing simliar across refreshes?

I'm not sure how the pricing structure for Macs work. This will be my first Apple purchase.

The pricing will be the same, if not a bit less maybe. NOBODY here sees it going up... See... Last year, the core 2 duo cpus were worth what the i series are worth now... But they aren't anymore, the i series isn't like an upgrade, it's a refresh, making the product better with the newer equivalent of what it already has.

That is wonderful news, thank you for your reply!

I would assume SSD will be cheaper as well. But even on newegg they haven't really gone down in pricing substantially in the past year.

SSD's aren't really cheaper. Considering RAM prices have gone up. I'm still trying to find 2gb DDR2 sodimm for the low prices I use to see them.
