Hi guys, I'm pretty new to OSX, some use in school, but not much!

With my transfer to a new school, I decided to pick up a MacBook Air. Any programs you guys recommend right away? I put OSX on one half hard drive partition and one half XP. I'm excited for the PC. It's freakin amazingly small. Wonderful for picking it up and going. The little magnetic power adapter is really amazing. The lack of USB kind of sucks, but I'm getting used to it. Any optimization tricks you guys know of or anything? I'm aware that this thread has little to no point, I guess I'm just happy to be an owner of such a cool piece of tech, and saying hi? :)

Awesome laptop. I like Windows laptops, but I think Apple REALLY wins out in the end.

the way you write that it makes it sound like it doesn't have USB at all.... I guess you mean the lack of having more than 1 USB port.... or did you just miss the USB port and think there wasn't one? :p
