I thought that would have been the better install, but it looks like some older programs such as diablo II will not install on a case sensitive install of the operating system.

Is the only way to change it to reinstall the OS?

Are you sure it's a problem with case sensitivity?

Diablo II currently has a problem with nVidia GPUs running on 10.5.3 and 10.5.4 since the graphics drivers disabled support for 256 color mode which the game needs. There is no word on when Apple will correct this, but presumably they will given the spotlight returning to Diablo with the Diablo III announcement.
