    Problem saving files on Word 2003

    i need to save this word doc, but i get this message, i have 150 GB available, and i've tried saving to an external disk and i get the same message, any ideas?

    i don't want to lose my work :(

    print screen a bunch? try saving it as another file type...

    i did that already, doesnt work, saving to .docx worked, thx ISend2C

    Apparently this is a very common issue on mac, due to too many temp files

    Weird, never happened to me, but if it happens again, copy and paste the document into like an email, or text edit. That way you can atleast save a copy, and restart word.

    Maybe microsoft will fix this in a patch or something.

    It happens to me sometimes too. I believe one of Microsoft's previous patches claimed to have fixed it but it still happens to me sometimes. I'm not very optimistic. I usually just end up copying and pasting to another document.

    yea, i just saw that it's word 2003. probably not at the top of their priorities right now.

    I think the topic is mislabeled. I don't think Word 2003 has this problem. It's a Mac Office thing. The screenshot posted is from Word 2004, while I have the problem occasionally in Word 2008.
