my last question for the night :)

I'm looking to get a laptop soon, preferrably before jan 17ish when my next semester starts.

Does apple have a history of any other sales similar to the black friday sale this week between now and end of january (day after xmas perhaps?)

thinking of waiting till after mwsf bc I can, but don't want to if its not going to get me anything except less time getting used to a new OS after the switch

Well, the macintels could be coming out around that time. It would be worth the wait if the do come out.

I realize they're coming out, but it seems that between releases apple still doesnt lower the prices of the old models very much (possibly bc they keep low stock, and this release should be after xmas and will have there stock even lower, so theres no incentive to price drop to much) If the price drop is estimated to be less then around $50, its not worth it to me to wait, since I'm not going to get the mactel anyway, being 1st rev an all.

i would hold off as long as you can, for either of two reasons.

1.being cheap because they have amazing sales when the models are replaced. when the new ibooks came out in august 12"ib were less than 800 dollars on amazon.

    2. or you could maybe wait for the intel
