Around $750-$800 if you can really strike a deal.

$750 to $800 is pushing it for that model.

    Which one is it?

With that 80GB HDD its either the $1299 white model from late 2006 or the entry model with no DVD writer from mid-2007.

If its either one of those then its not worth anything really. Selling it for more than $600 would be ripping the buyer off considering its plastic (bad build, I know from experience) and the fact that PCs can be had for $800 with blu-ray and 3x the RAM and HDD.

Edit: it could be the late 2007 entry model also.

That still means no DVD writer, the X3100, and plastic. Realistically it'd need a RAM upgrade to be worth $500.

It was bought last year, september. I know that's not true because I see powerbooks and ibooks still selling for around 500-1200. Its a mac, but I'm just wondering if I should buy and resell for profit, or if its too much of a hassle

I would go ahead and sell it, as Apple products tend to hold their value for a relatively long time. You can really make a profit off your machine! :D

No :p good communication. I just need some motivation to get it to make a profit. Heck, I might keep it for a week or so to screw around with my first mac (i hate them )

Haha, I see. Hey, have an open mind for Mac. You never know, you just might like it. Get it and see what you think. You won't be dissappointed!
