    Preview app can not read file

    Hi everybody, i dont know why but Preview can not read/open any kind of files, as pdf, jpg...Even when i browse file, it cant view as image, the only way is open Photoshop to view it

    Try changing the default application associated with the file to Preview.app. Right click on the file>Get Info, in the Open With part select Preview.app from the dropdown box, and then click Change All.

    right click on the icon and press "open with". Then click "other". Besides enable, click the drop down menu and then click on "all applications". Then select preview in list of applications and then tick "always open with". Press "open".

    Have you tried any other photo program other then photoshop?

    Try booting up in safe mode ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455 ) and see if it works in there. Then see if it works normally after restart.
