    My MBP just reached this status - any idea how long it'll take to ACTUALLY ship now?

    I picked the 2-3 day shipping (seemed like there were only two options: normal or 2-3 day).

    ahh okay. Mine says August 29th - September 7th for shipping... So for you they were within target?

    Well depends when it actually ships - my window was August 15-20 for when it would ship...so currently they're in it, I just wondered if anyone knew about how long it would really take to get out once it went to "Prepared to Ship" status.

    well ... i dnt knw about the macbook pro... but for most of the peripheral devices that come along with it... generaly ... once the "preparing to ship" status comes about, then it'll take 1-2 business days more at the max for it to get picked up .. and then 2-3 business days from then on for you to receive it... so ... you should be receiving it hopefully mid to late next week i suppose..

    That means that it is sitting waiting to be picked up by fedex. I just got off the phone with Apple. Probably some intermediary or something that handles their shipping.
