I have this small annoyance. Just recently I have started to use powerpoint for downloading lecture slides, because Im tried of having to print 50 pages 3 times a week...

Is there a way to transition to the next slide without having to click on the scroll bar button?

I have to type notes in the notes section and I have click on the scroll button to get the next slide, then click back in the notes section to take notes. THis is really annoying and unproductive.

It would better if I could just press a page down key and get the next slide, is there such a function?

BTW, the picture is irrelevant..just dont know how to remove it.

You should be able to use the forward and back arrow keys to navigate the presentation. Also pressing space bar should take you forward one slide, as does clicking the trackpad button (when in presentation mode).
Also if you like using your apple remote, you can try out (30 day trial) remotebuddy, which allows you to remap your appleremote (or iphone etc) to control pretty much every aspect of you mac... including powerpoint.

Except that does not work when you have the cursor active in the Notes Section, which is the case here. There are different shortcuts for different Views.

I don't really know the best solution. I use the "Presenter Tools" View and just click the slide above. Works well unless you encounter a slide with animations or whatever (then you may have to click more than once to advance to the next slide). Also if you use the Presenter Tools View be sure to mute your speakers in class, just in case there are any sound effects!

Also, to remove Attachments on NBR you need to Go Advanced and click the Manage Attachments button and then click Remove.
