So I was playing with my Powerbook when all of a sudden the screen went black and the little white suspend light started doing its thing.

I wasnt doing anything unusual, browsing the internet while it happened.

None of the buttons allowed me to power it on/off so I popped the battery, the little white light did its' dance for nearly 10 minute before it went out. now when i try to turn it back on (even plugged in/plugged in no batt.) no response. Power button does nothing. _nothing

so uh, fix it. thanks guys :)

Try resetting the PMU, http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449 contains instructions (you need to know exactly which model of Powerbook you have though, check your serial number against Apples specs site http://support.apple.com/specs/ to find out which one you have).

If that doesn't work, there isn't much you can do other than to take it to an authorized service provider or Apple Store. No power = PMU reset either works or no joy.
