Hi, my brother gave me a PowerBook G4 aluminium, 12" 1.5GHz because it wont start.

When he gave it to me nothing happend when I pressed power. I bought a new copy of the original 45W AC adapter. Now, when I press power, all that happens is the fan starts running very loud. Nothing happens on the screen. The battery indicators say that the battery is fully charged.

I tried resetting the PRAM, NVRAM and the PMU. Nothing happens when I try the different key commands.

I have tried to start the computer without the battery but there's no difference.

    Anyone knows what to do?

I think its dead, probably a bad logic board. I would sell it on eBay.

this is probably your best option. My 12in G4 died last year. I was very very sad to let it go, such a great machine.
