    Hi,

I am thinking of buying a "Western Digital Passport 120GB" portable external hd, to combine it with a black MB. [It appears to be a good product; and the colors seem to match.]

I am only worried about that the MB's USB port may fail to provide sufficient electric power for it, as some people have reported. :(

[An easy solution appears to be to get a booster cable; but obviously it is not a very nice one.]

Has any of you had any experience about it?

Other than that, any other suggestion for a portable external HD?

    Thanks, G. :)

It'll be fine. I have used numerous external HDs with my Macbook, never had a power issue before.
