Anyone have much experience with Plex and the Mac Mini as an HTPC (okay it's not a laptop, but it's small!)?

How is the user experience, etc.? Assuming the 2.7GHZ/225SSD model, are the specs capable of handling just about any video file you throw at it (including Hi10P files)? Mostly looking for thoughts on the Mac Mini as an HTPC, although opinions on Plex are always welcome too.

A little hesitant to just grab one now with all those rumors of the next big thing being some sort of Apple TV, but I figure even if those rumors are true, it would be several months at the least before one comes out; and there are always uses for an extra computer.

The current Mac Mini would work without an issue as an HTPC. It will be able to tackle all the movie files you can throw at it, up to 1080p and beyond. If you were dead set on the Mac Mini, then don't hesitate on buying it, they are amazing looking and will handle the tasks with ease.
