I experienced pitting problems on the palmrest with my old Macbook Pro and I was wondering if the new unibody macbook pros will have the same issue. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

pitting? no idea what pitting would be on the palmrest... using a hammer and chisel? :p

I don't have any noticeable problem on my older Macbook Pro id define with that name, and definitely not on my unibody one.

Here's an example of pitting on a macbook pro though mine is much worse XD
Apparently it happened on my old macbook pro because my sweat is very acidic :/ The acidic sweat degrades the aluminum and causes many little pits to appear (not dirt, just pits)

Well people haven't have the unibody mbps long enough for that to take effect I guess. But haven't heard of anything like that. Also I think that the aluminum used is of a different grade.

    Moshi Palmguard
Helps protect, and can also be used to cover it up if you have it already

I am experiencing pitting with my Macbook Pro 15" Unibody. I called Apple today and they said that I was the first person to experience this issue and to take it to an Apple Store to have it looked at.

I will post more information as it becomes available.
