Is there a photo viewer like windows where you can just open one photo then arrow to the next one?

Also, is there a media player that you can select several files to play and they will play one after another like windows media player?

You can open all the files you want to view in Preview and do this, but I find it easier to use Quicklook.

Basically, in Finder press the Space Bar on any file to take a quick look at it.... you can arrow down through the Finder list and it will keep changing showing you what is there. You can also select multiple pictures/files in Finder and quicklook them with more controls all on the Quicklook window.

If your talking about videos.. you can make playlists like that in VLC... its an overall good media player, and its free.

I was hoping to view photos an easier way. The windows view you open a single photo and can use arrows at the bottom to scroll.

I use VLC and it will play one video at a time. How can you select multiple files 5-10 or more and get to play one right after another?

I don't get whats not easy about the method I described, which you can do exactly what you are describing as well.

Create a playlist... on the main player window on the bottom right is a Playlist button. You can open everything up and put it in playlists there, s well as save playlists. If you play the Playlist it goes through all the movies in it.

Maybe it's a setting I have overlooked, but VLC will not play a list of files in the playlist sequentially, unless full screen.

Perhaps a user here can clarify the functioning, so as to play automatically and sequentially at less than full screen, for both myself and the OP.

it plays them fine for me... make sure you play the actual playlist, and not the first movie in the playlist. You can even right click the Playlist title itself and click play.
