I've been hearing good things about CrossOver from a few people and wondered if anyone here could recommend it. Normally I just game under boot camp, but apparently this program allows you to game at full speed under OS X. Any truth to this? What kind of performance would I be looking at with a 9600M GT?

Oh wow, I was just coming here to make a thread asking the same thing :|
They do have a trial, I downloaded it and never got to testing it, and it expired :(
I would love to know how left 4 dead would run with it.

Isn't Bootcamp the best way to go if you want to play games since it uses all of the system's resource?

Yes it is, but if crossover is good then why waist time using windows.

Hey guys, i play Tf2 and Counter strike source with little to no slowdowns. I got my MBP about a month ago, and hate booting into windows just to play games. I'm kinda bummed because L4d doesn't work yet, but should be ok in release 7.2 which is supposedly in the works.

If you need to game use bootcamp, if you only need a few games give Crossover a shot, it was a perfect compromise for me! :D
