I'm wondering with bootcamp (i just got my first mbp) what some recommendations are for splitting the 160gb harddrive between OSX and Vista
OSX is going to be my main drive and then Vista I am going to run only for gaming.
I was thinking 10-30gb over how much vista will require
thanks for your input

Seems like a safe bet, you could probably do fine with a 30 or 35 gig partition; really depends on how many games you'll have installed at any one time.

Vista used a lot of HD space in my experience. I turned off System Restore and all that, but, even with just Vista and some CS apps space was vanishing before I even started having docs on the system.
If you plan to use Vista quite a bit, a 100GB/50G OSX/Vista split would work.
If Vista is just going to be a curiosity, 35-40GB partition would work.
Your 160GB is prolly closer to a 150GB drive in reality. -
Does anyone know how much space Vista Business by itself would take? -
I could not figure it out, it was like it has more to do with temp files and caches maybe?
I had Vista Hope Premium and a few Adobe Apps on there and no documents or work files and it was taking up about 20GB.
