    Hi all,

Recently, about once a day, OS X tries to shut down by itself. Firefox or some other program is usually open so it prevents the shut down, but it gets annoying when it happens once a day. It's plugged in, not overheating, latest firmware/software 10.5.5 leopard.

I'm on the current macbook pro with the 2.4 c2d. Nothing like this has happened before this week.

    Any ideas would be great.

    Thanks!

IDK if sending you else where for help is going to make people happy with me, but, I've heard snippets about this problem before- I'd recommend quickly Googleing your query first, since it's very common.

One assumes you don't have either auto logout or scheduled restarts enabled?
