    Hi,

Is there a program out there that I can use on leopard to change how much bass/treble comes out of the sound output? Like the graphic equalizer for itunes, but system wide?

The reason why is that my speakers have a subwoofer, but no independent control for the volume of it. On the PC (cough), I could just turn it down with the creative software, but osx doesn't have anything that I can see.

Will I have to get new speakers?....

    Thanks.

Before making comments on things, please do at least some research. Many sound cards, creative, ac'97, etc, use these features, but maybe in their own program, not like the image below.

I see this on Windows (ignore the numbers, was off the net, my pc got sold) but its the same image; where I can adjust the bass/treble levels of the output.

    Thanks.

I havnt found it on OS X, but I do use it frquently on laptops with the realtek HD audio chipset, they have a nice EQ built into the drivers as do all the creative labs boards

The only thing I know of is Hear by joesoft.
There is a 30 day free trial, so you can check it out before you buy.
Also its $10 cheaper from the applestore online then directly from the company.
    a :)
