Okay, just got hte beta a few hours ago. I know it's a beta... but so far I'm not impressed at all. It's MUCH slower than Parallels. It doesn't have the streamlined XP install system.
It does have easier controls over the hardware I think. Instead of having to flip between the properties view and the OS, it has small icons where you can mount or unmount the dvd or turn on or off the isight. Things like that.

I used 1 gig of ram in my XP install, and it was SLOW. Much slower than Parallels with 512MB.

Overall, not impressive. I'll be more curious to see if it improves by the time they come out with a full release.

I'll keep it installed for another few days. If you have any questions about it, I'll try to answer.

Parallels is also faster on the Windows side, as in Windows as the host. Now that they support USB 2.0 and Boot Camp, it is had to see anyone else overtaking their lead. They now fully support the hardware and they are much faster than any competitor.
