Window managers for a long time in *nix environments have supported multi-desktops to help organize your workspace. I see this is new in Leopard...I am really surprised Tiger doesn't have it. Or is the option in Tiger?

I am still waiting on my mac but how does it compare to say KDE, Fluxbox (one I use) and others?

You should look into Smackbook. It may be just what you're looking for.

    Just Google Smackbook.

    VirtueDesktops. Great program.

Also, Leopard will support multiple desktops natively.

I also recommend you looking into Smacbook. It's a great showing off method.

I am going to use this one until Leopard. Thx. Lol I don't want to have to smack my laptop to get it to switch desktops.
