OS X 10.8.6 w/iPod Nano 5 : Transfering Tunes - I loaded tunes from iTunes Library to iPod Music; now I want to copy those tunes back over to an iTunes Playlist named "Today" -- but can't figure out how to do that; attempting to "export" only shows that a .txt file is being exported, not the music files; any direction/information much appreciated. Thanks!

Can't be done without 3rd party software. Apple's Fairplay DRM for you. A problem on OSX or on Windows.

Basically this. If my entire family weren't on iPhones and using iMessage and FaceTime regularly, I'd move back to Android in a heartbeat.

Where did the songs originate from? Apple Music or iTune purchase?
