Can anyone report back on the supposed speed increases and stuff? I had it when it came out but couldn't stand how slow it was compared to iWork, so I uninstalled, not sure how far it's progressed.

I had that dream 2 years ago :p

It might be a bit faster at launching and shutting down, but I haven't noticed much else in terms of performance. It is still slower than iWork, but it's not so bad.

I gave up on office long ago. iWork does everything I need it too better than Office, and is much much faster.

Good to see it updated though.

The times that i've used messenger for mac, i felt that it was pretty "decontented" compared to the WLM client for Windows. Perhaps it's because it's "dual-purpose" (intended for internal business use for the most part, with consumer use on the side) but I miss stuff like "nudges" to get convo's moving again, and animated winks..

I really wish they would just create a Mac version of the same client available for Windows. :)

I found the NeoOffice Exchange client and messaging client to be a bit lacking.

I also find the "circa 1997" Neo Office website to be somewhat depressing.

I also find the "significantly reduced support for non-donors" to be interesting (see above link)

OpenOffice's reliance on Java has always been a bit cringe-worthy.

Also, from Neo Office's very own FAQ:

    VERY REASSURING.

Now, can we get back to the topic? When the heck are they gonna release the Entourage Web services.. I need my OWA support!

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think neo-office presentation application would even come close to Keynote.

I would suspect the video quality of MSN. Look how crappy they are in windows. I would prefer skype. Maybe microsoft should buy skype OR you can log in skype using your hotmail account, that will be nice.

I am in math/stat and I need a lot of equation editing. I wonder why iwork does not cooperate with latex so that it will be much easier to input equation. I hate the equation editor.

You know, after the SP1 update fiasco (where the update would hang), you'd think Microsoft would have sorted out all of the update issues. BUT NO. Now SP2 will render my entire install useless, with Office saying I need a new product key. Has anyone else encountered this problem and knows how to fix it? I ended up re-installing the entire Office suite, and it remembers my original key, but it will uninstall BOTH service packs in the process. I'm not even going to bother updating again until a fix is made for this problem.

This probably means that MS thinks your serial is of a pirated nature/or you've used up all your allocated activations. A call to MS is what is need for them to reset the serial back to working.
