Has anyone ever tried to use an extra oem copy of windows as a bootcamp install?

works just fine. I almost always use OEM or Technet copies. if you have a Key or just want it as a 30 day trial you can even download the .iso from digital river ( MS subsiduary )
http://forum.notebookreview.com/win...digitalriver-windows-7-sp1-13-languages.html#
even includes instructions and software for making bootable USB drive -
Cool, thanks!

The only difference between OEM and retail is that the license is locked to the computer on which you installed it for OEM. Given most people won't upgrade until there is a new version of windows out, no reason not to go OEM and pay more for retail really.

Do all versions of windows 7 offer a 30 day trial without a key?

Will I need to reformat when it launches? Or just update and activate if I like it?
