    OEM windows work for bootcamp?

    Has anyone ever tried to use an extra oem copy of windows as a bootcamp install?

    The only difference between OEM and retail is that the license is locked to the computer on which you installed it for OEM. Given most people won't upgrade until there is a new version of windows out, no reason not to go OEM and pay more for retail really.

    Do all versions of windows 7 offer a 30 day trial without a key?

    Well, technically it's not a trial, but yes you can run it for 30 days without a key. You could also give windows 8 a shot, the preview build will be good at least until launch which is still a couple of months off. It's not as robust since it's a release preview and people have mixed feelings about it, but it's an option to consider.
