I just bought a MBP, Im going to be running bootcamp for some gaming and a couple work applications. Will the OEM version work fine? It saves $100 if it does. Also, are there currently drivers to support Vista 64-bit or is XP still the way to go with bootcamp? thanks

I installed 32-bit OEM Windows Vista Business - install was smooth and it runs like a charm. Dont know anything about 64-bit though.

64 bit will work since the intel processor supports it-although I don't know about apple drivers...

Be aware though, Apple doesn't support 64-bit with drivers.

There are no 64-bit apple drivers for vista yet.

They only have it for the MAC PRO at the time.
    NOT MACBOOK PRO.

Yeah, no 64-bit Windows for Macs except for the Mac Pro.

And a copy of OEM Windows, as long as it is not bundled with a computer, works fine.

Actually the Mac Pro x64 drivers do include most of the drivers for the MBP.

I've downloaded and installed them and they fully support Vista x64 on the MBP.
