    Has anyone had any luck installing OCZ 2 GB sticks in MBPs? Mine wouldn't boot up today when I tried, dangit...

    I tried a 2GB kingston stick. No problem at all.

    I had a try at a 1GB Kingston Value with my Macbook, wouldn't boot. A less known stick worked fine. Go figure.

    Hey, thanks for the pointless reply. :p Yes, I just purchased a MBP... I canceled the order for the machine in my profile.

    Incidentally, I got the OCZ 2 GB stick to work (same one from the RAM HOT DEALS thread). Must not have seated it right the first time. My 3d mark 06 score dropped over a thousand points upon installation, though... gonna have to see what's up with that.
